Here’s what February has in the gaming store for us.
Cultist Simulator
Cultist Simulator is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch on February 2nd, 2021. Since its first launch for PC, Mac, and Linux on May 31st, 2018, the game has grown on us. Mobile versions were following in the release in April 2019.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
Fans of the series won’t have to wait any longer to begin their next escapade because Ys 9: Monstrum Nox demo is here. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will be soon available for PlayStation 4 on February 2nd in North America, February 5th in Europe, and February 12th in ANZ (short for Australia and New Zealand). If Switch or PC is your preferred platform, you won’t have to wait much longer, as you can expect to play it this summer.
Outriders
People Can Fly stated that we will have to wait a little longer for the release since the release date has been postponed to April 1st, 2021. To lighten up the message, the developer announced a free demo available on February 25th. People Can Fly also said that players will be able to move their progress over to the full game once released.
Control
Control Ultimate Edition comes to PS5™ and Xbox Series X|S with a 60fps Performance Mode and 30fps Graphics Mode (with ray-tracing). The digital launch is on February 2nd, 2021, while fans who prefer to buy a physical copy can do so on the retail launch, expected on March 2nd, 2021. The game was initially released on August 27nd, 2019. Control Ultimate Edition includes the main game and all previously released Expansions (“The Foundation” and “AWE”).
Skyforge
This sci-fi action MMO is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 4th, 2021. You can download Skyforge for free on Windows PC, PS4™, Xbox One (you have to have an Xbox Live Gold account, though), and soon on Nintendo Switch.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is landing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4™, PS5™, and Epic Games Store on February 4th. Cyanide Studio, a creator of this highly anticipated video game, is an independent video game studio best known for its Pro Cycling Manager series.
Kinetic Edge
Kinetic Edge is a physics-based multiplayer racer game that will become available on Steam for PC on February 5th. This video game includes Kinetic Race, Kinetic Arena, Kinetic Survival, Kinetic Golf, Kinetic Maze, and Kinetic Gauntlet.
Little Nightmares 2
With so many titles to keep track of now, make sure you don’t let this treat slide away. Little Nightmares’ sequel rolls out on February 11th, 2021, for PS4™, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. For PS5™, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia, the game will be available sometime later in the same year. In the meantime, you can explore the Wilderness demo available on Steam.
Fallen Legion: Revenants
Fallen Legion invites you to seek vengeance through steel and secrecy in its soon-available Revenants edition. The game launches on February 16th in the US, February 19th in the EU, and February 27th in ANZ. It will be available on two platforms, PS4™, Nintendo Switch™.
Hellish Quart
A physics-based, realistic, 3D sword dueling game set in the 17th century will debut on Steam and GOG.com, marked as early access. If you are unsure if this is your cup of tea, the game’s free demo is available on the destinations mentioned above, so you can test it out.
Gravity Heroes
The 2D platform shooter gets a new release date! The physics-defying gunfights in Gravity Heroes will be available for players on February 19th for Steam, Nintendo Switch™, PS4™, and Xbox One. The launch was previously announced for January 22nd.
Persona 5 Strikers
Persona 5 Strikers is releasing on February 23rd for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch™, and PC. In Japan, this title is known as Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. It is a series’s spinoff, a gameplay crossover between Dynasty Warriors series and the Persona series. However, many fans feel like it is actually a sequel to the original Persona 5. The Asian release was in early-2020.
Bravely Default II
Like with many other games, Bravely Default II was also to release worldwide in 2020, but, due to the pandemic, the launch was rescheduled for a later date. This role-playing sequel is coming to Nintendo Switch™ on February 26th for the Western territories. Bravely Default II is the third game in the Bravely series, following the original game, Bravely Default and Bravely Second.
RetroMania Wrestling
RetroMania Wrestling is the sequel to the WrestleFest, a 1991 arcade hit. Its digital release will come out on February 26th for the PC, Nintendo Switch™, PS4™, and Xbox One.
